On July 18, 2024, Li Jiafeng (second from right), President of the China Timber & Wood Products Distribution Association, and his delegation visited the IWG Huangdao Smart Synergy Factory. They exchanged views on industry development trends, smart manufacturing and digital transformation, and the situation of the timber and adhesive industries. Zhang Peng, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Timber & Wood Products Distribution Association, Zhu Jinshui, Chairman of IWG, Liu Yongsheng, Vice President, and Cheng Hanwen, Vice President and General Manager of the Product Technology Center, accompanied the visit and participated in the discussions.

President Li stepped into the corporate exhibition hall and stopped to exchange views with Chairman Zhu, listening to reports on IWG's development history, industrial layout, intellectual property, technology research and development, and applications. He gave high recognition and encouraged IWG to continue deepening its industrial layout, increase R&D and innovation efforts, and contribute to the development of the home furnishing industry with higher quality and technology.

At the production site, President Li conducted in-depth research focusing on the production line layout, smart manufacturing, and quality control of IWG's core product, PUR, and gave full recognition. At the R&D Center & Quality Management Center, President Li listened with great interest as Chairman Zhu introduced the quality management system. Since the plant's establishment, IWG had implemented the ISO9001 quality management system, ensuring stable, high-standard delivery and worry-free adhesive use for customers through establishing high standards in the adhesive-making process and full-coverage quality management in the application process, thereby creating greater value for users. President Li expressed high appreciation for this, hoping that IWG would strive to leverage the local advantages of manufacturing, accelerate the pace of domestic substitution for imports, and build a bright business card for the adhesive industry.

At the symposium, both sides conducted in-depth discussions and reached consensus on the current state of industry development under the current economic situation, timber industry development trends, and innovations in adhesive technology applications, laying a solid foundation for future exchanges and cooperation.
