IWG Yongtenai: Sailing to Germany, Bringing Leading Technology to Global Partners
In May 2025, IWG Yongtenai prepared to launch its latest strategy during interzum Cologne, using the international trade fair as a platform to connect with global partners and present advanced adhesive technology for home furnishing, woodworking and industrial applications.

On May 21, IWG (hereinafter referred to as “IWG”) will launch its latest strategy during the industry trade fair in Cologne, sounding the call for global expansion in Europe.
At that time, the 2025 Interzum Cologne – the International Trade Fair for Furniture Production, Woodworking and Interior Design (interzum) – will commence. Taking the opportunity of participating in this major international exhibition, IWG is invited to the concurrently held “International High-End Home Technology Seminar,” where IWG’s multiple leading technologies will be unveiled simultaneously with its global strategy.
The reasons for choosing Cologne to make this major technology and strategy announcement are twofold: First, IWG considers the interzum fair’s immense international influence and significant standing in the home furnishing industry, especially its role as a bellwether for the sector; second, the industry seminar to be held on the afternoon of May 21 (local German time) happens to feature “Going Global” pathways and strategies as one of its key topics. A convergence of favorable circumstances, “The right time to go global” has become the perfect annotation for this journey to Cologne.
In recent years, IWG’s development can be described as “one steady step at a time,” with resolute and stable progress. However, with the completion of the Qingdao Huangdao Smart Collaborative Factory, the realization of independent R&D for key raw materials, the establishment of a comprehensive technical service system, and especially the intensification of cutthroat competition in the domestic market, IWG has actively adjusted the pace and rhythm of its “Going Global” strategy, positioning internationalization as a crucial strategic focus for the near future. Conversely, the three aforementioned points can also be seen as the tactical system support that IWG has completed during the preparatory phase for going global.
Smart Collaborative Factory Completed

In IWG’s view, “Smart Collaboration,” based on digital information infrastructure, bridges the digital gap between supply chain enterprises and home furnishing companies, strengthens the connection and emotional bond between the two parties, and has qualitatively enhanced IWG’s own capabilities across five dimensions: R&D, product, manufacturing, supply, and service.
Independent R&D of Key Raw Materials Realized

Amidst a volatile international landscape and geopolitical influences, many domestically manufactured products that rely on foreign-supplied raw materials or core substrates are highly susceptible to external control, with related industrial chains constantly facing upstream supply disruption risks. Therefore, only when the supply chain possesses independent supporting capabilities and genuinely achieves raw material self-sufficiency can the “independent manufacturing” of key products be truly realized.
To this end, regarding the crucial independent R&D and assurance of “AB two-component rapid laminating adhesive” and “PUR main raw materials,” IWG planned ahead and took the lead, initiating related technical breakthroughs 4 to 5 years ago and exploring new technical routes. Ultimately, by the end of 2023, mature and stable raw material products were delivered to the enterprise, achieving a successful substitution of basic raw materials.
Comprehensive Technical Service System Established
IWG aspires to be a provider of more stable value in the global adhesive industry. Therefore, the company strives for forward-looking deployment in every link of the home furnishing industry chain, while closely monitoring customer needs. Using the Smart Collaboration system as a cornerstone, it builds a warm and resilient emotional bond with its customers.
Leveraging Smart Collaboration, IWG can help customers achieve “end-to-end” service throughout the entire product lifecycle. Here, end-to-end means: the front end, through a digital platform, initiates pre-emptive targeted product R&D testing and tracks global customer demands in real time; the back end forms a rapid response system, relying on the IWG Huangdao Smart Collaborative Factory, through an integrated process of “R&D - Production - Testing - Delivery - Service,” moving from targeted products to the formation of scenario-based solutions, as well as smooth delivery and a comprehensive after-sales technical service system.
Supported by IWG’s independent R&D of PUR raw materials and aligned with the process needs of global customers, at this Cologne exhibition, IWG will bring and globally premiere three PUR technology innovations: Handle-free PUR Edge Banding Technology, Filler-free PUR Edge Banding Technology, and White Anti-Stain PUR Edge Banding Technology. These aim to solve the manufacturing pain points of high-end home furnishing customers in a scenario-based and systematic manner, ensuring effective improvements in production efficiency and the long-term stability of product quality after delivery, thereby maximizing the avoidance of various potential quality issues.

From May 20 to 23, IWG Yongtenai will be at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany, booth Hall 1.2 B069. On May 21, the International High-End Home Technology Seminar, Cologne Station, will also be held. We look forward to your visit.
