Precautions for using epoxy resin adhesive:

(1) If the mixing ratio exceeds the standard range, the bonding strength will significantly decrease. Therefore, different mixing ratios must be selected according to specific uses and must not be changed arbitrarily. Each time, the correct volume ratio or weight must be accurately measured without carelessness.

(2) If mixing is uneven or the ratio is not properly blended, the AB mixture may remain permanently sticky and never harden, resulting in bonding failure. Especially in winter, the resin viscosity increases significantly due to cold weather, making it difficult to mix evenly, and the AB mixture cannot fully cure. This often leads to poor bonding. Please pay special attention, as this is the primary cause of poor bonding quality and the main reason for product returns.

(3) After mixing the main agent and hardener, an exothermic reaction generates high temperature and rapid curing. The larger the mixed quantity, the faster the heat generation. Therefore, the maximum mixing amount is limited to 1 kg of main agent and 1 kg of hardener per batch. Excessive amounts, such as 10 kg of main agent plus 10 kg of hardener, may cause the resin to crack or even explode due to high heat. Thus, please do not mix too large a quantity at one time.

(4) When the temperature exceeds 35°C, to extend the working time, the amount of 901 B glue can be reduced by 10-20%, but not beyond this limit. Alternatively, pre-cool part A glue in a 5°C refrigerator before mixing with part B. Note that at low temperatures, the viscosity increases, making it difficult to pour.

(5) Part A (white main agent) and Part B (light brown hardener) must be mixed thoroughly and evenly:
15-30°C: Normal volume ratio 901A:901B=100cc:100cc
(weight ratio 901A(100g):901B(90g))
30-35°C: 901A:901B=100cc:90cc
(weight ratio 901A(100g):901B(80g))

(6) Even if only a small portion of A and B glue is unevenly mixed, it will still cause bonding failure. This is most likely to occur in winter, so please ensure thorough mixing. It is recommended to stir again 10 minutes after the glue has been mixed.

Note (1): In the northern regions of mainland China, when the temperature drops below 15°C, the viscosity increases, making uniform mixing difficult. Therefore, preheat part B glue to 30°C so it flows more easily and can be mixed more evenly. When the temperature is below 10°C, 901AB cannot fully cure. The bonded product must then be placed in a heated room or wood drying kiln at 20-40°C for at least 24 hours to ensure complete resin curing.

Note (2): At 5-15°C, you can switch to a one-component 100% PU adhesive, which can fully cure without heating at low temperatures. Our company also supplies products suitable for winter bonding in environments without heating.
