Wooden Toys And Craft Photo Frames

Solution Introduction

IWG Woodworking Adhesive continuously optimizes and improves its adhesive application solutions in terms of quality, efficiency, and environmental protection, in order to create higher quality wooden musical instrument products. The water-based adhesive series is widely used in the field of wooden musical instruments such as guitars and pianos through high-frequency processing!

Integrated solution for adhesive used in wooden toys, handicrafts, and photo frames:

Wooden toys

MDF、 The splicing, assembly, and bonding of solid wood materials are fast and environmentally friendly, without the addition of formaldehyde adhesive products. The adhesive products have passed the EU ROHS new standard and are used for various processes of water-based adhesive series processing.

Handicraft

Craft wooden accessories, gift boxes, wooden packaging boxes for wine, tobacco and other small wooden products, water-based adhesive E0 environmentally friendly adhesive series, single component bonding is fast, easy to operate, and efficient.

Common problem analysis

What is the reason why solid wood photo frames are prone to cracking after painting when assembled at a 45 degree angle?

Main cause analysis and solutions:

•  When sawing at a 45 degree angle, the slope becomes rough, especially when the cork wood is loose and the slope becomes rough after sawing. When the glue coating is slightly less and the filling is not enough, it leads to insufficient strength and cracking of the contact surface.

•  Solid wood has a moisture content greater than 14%, and the pure inclined 45 degree joint structure is prone to solidification due to subsequent shrinkage stress, resulting in cracks.

•  Insufficient heating time during high-frequency processing and assembly leads to insufficient initial bonding strength, resulting in subsequent cracking.

•  After assembly and unloading, if the bonding time to the next process is too short and the initial bonding strength has not formed a large bonding force, it will crack under pressure.

•  The solvent resistance of the selected adhesive is insufficient, and after painting, the adhesive line is affected by the solvent, resulting in protruding adhesive lines or damage and cracking of the adhesive layer.
